The glost firing, is realized at high temperature (1 300 - 1 400 °C). There is a trend to reduce the cycle time from 17-18 h (traditional tunnel or shuttle kilns) to as low as 3 h., thanks to fast firing technology. Silicon Carbide products have become more than ever a must to face these very tough operating conditions.
