Need to convey very hot and aggressive air, containing for example SOx.
A range of pipes named ferrules has been developed in different materials : porcelain, mullite or alumina to fit the different needs.
Car Industry
Convey very heavy and cutting metal belts on a surface with low friction and high resistance to abrasion.

Sliding plates in extruded and machined SiSiC have been developed. SiSiC properties ensure a very good sliding of the belts and offer a high wear resistance.


Electrical Resistances
Need to have mechanical parts to support electrical resistances elements: exposure to high temperature.

Extruded tubes and cylindrical parts have been produced in mullite and show very good performance in the application thanks to very precise dimensions to fit with the resistance elements and very high resistance to heat.

(ie: Macaroons design to electrical radiant tubes for equipment of kiln of treatment).

Heating Devices: Burner Nozzles
Burner nozzles have to resist very high temperatures up to 2000°C depending on the atmosphere.
Different burner nozzles have been developed, based on our extended range of SiC, to face a wide range of heating conditions. The temperature and the type of atmosphere will determine the kind of SiC required.
Bio-Sciences
Contain samples of soil that need to be kept in perfect conditions (good humidity) before being analyzed.
Capsules in mullite  with a very high porosity have been designed to ensure very high hydrophilic properties.
